Web Page Design Quick Start - Creating a Web Page
Create a Bulleted List

Web pages often contain a pick list that is used to jump to other Web pages or topics on the same page. The pick list is usually organized as an unordered or bulleted list.

  1. To create a bulleted list:
    1. In preview view only, click the Bulleted List button on the Formatting toolbar.
Or, select Lists on the Text menu. Click on New Bulleted List from the Lists sub menu.
The Bulleted List Properties box is displayed.

    2. Select one of the following styles from the Bulleted List Properties box:
      Square
      Filled square
      Disc.

The Navigator default is the disc. Internet Explorer's only option is the disc.

      Note
You will not see the Bulleted Properties box if you have set your Preferences to insert HTML elements with the default settings or if you have selected Internet Explorer as your default browser.

    3. Click OK.
The first bullet appears on the screen.

    4. Type the first item and press Enter.
      Another bullet appears.

    5. Repeat Step 4 for each item in the list.

    6. To end the list, press the Enter key twice.

    Example:
    • Rare Coins
    • Coin Dealers
    • Coin Collectors

    Note
See Create Lists for information on creating ordered (numbered) and definition lists.

  2. To edit the bulleted list:

Click on the Right Click Pop-Up menu or use the Edit menu to access Document Properties, Bulleted List Properties, and Bulleted List Item Properties.
